GOING HOME

When you feel ready to go home, you will receive instructions regarding your recuperation, diet, medication and follow-up with your doctor. DO NOT DRIVE, operate machinery or drink alcoholic beverages for 24 hours after your surgery. Also, we strongly recommend that you arrange for a responsible adult to be with you for 24 hours following the surgery. Any urgent questions or emergencies should be referred to your surgeon.

 

AT HOME

We will call you within the next few days after surgery to see how you are feeling and to answer questions. Out of town accommodations can be made at the Country Inn and Suites (605-232-3500) Dakota Dunes at discount rates for you and your family for an overnight stay before or after your surgery.
