Tips for Your Surgery |
The length of time you will spend in the recovery room will depend on the nature of your surgery, your condition and the type of anesthesia that you receive. In the recovery room, you will receive a warm blanket, and once ready, you will go to the private recliner area with a personal television until you are ready for discharge. If your surgeon believes that your condition requires in-patient medical care, then you will be admitted for such care into our in-patient, overnight Recovery Care Center (RCC). The RCC is staffed 24 hours a day by professional nurses.
